It implements a storage proof mechanism to verify cross-chain transfers using data already posted to Ethereum’s root by Ethereum <a href="https://intercom.help/ecoprotocol/en/articles/10080499-what-is-a-layer-2-l2-blockchain" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Layer 2s</a>.
