The Hyperlane Route is one of several settlement paths available in Eco Routes. It uses Hyperlane's modular cross-chain messaging protocol to verify that a stablecoin transfer has been fulfilled on the destination chain before releasing funds on the source chain. This path offers configurable security modules and fast settlement for most cross-chain use cases.

Eco Routes is settlement-agnostic by design. Developers can select the Hyperlane Route alongside other paths including Chainlink CCIP, Circle CCTP, LayerZero, and Polymer, matching the settlement mechanism to each transaction's speed, cost, and security requirements.
