Ink and USDT0 Are Now Live on Eco Routes and Portal
With Eco, any app in the Ink ecosystem can instantly access deep stablecoin liquidity.

Ink and Tether’s USDT0 are live on the Eco Portal, an onchain app allowing instant stablecoin transfers across Ethereum, five major L2s (and counting), and now, with Ink, with one low fee powered by Eco Routes.
Apps integrating Eco Routes can easily allow transfers between their native chain and others. Routes allows onchain apps to instantly access a robust network of stablecoin liquidity and simplify their user experience to one simple action. The Portal demonstrates this in a simple bridge interface, enabling fast, stablecoin transfers between all Eco-connected chains.
Ink’s relentless focus on eliminating friction points within a user’s onchain experience aligns with Eco’s vision. As mentioned in the Announcing Ink press release, Ink’s goal is to “make it easier for people to access exciting new opportunities onchain.”
“Ink is focused on bringing more users and assets onchain, and that starts with making the experience feel seamless. Eco Routes simplifies stablecoin transfers in a way that aligns perfectly with how we think about UX at the protocol level – fast, intuitive, and composable by default." - Andrew Koller, Founder of Ink
Since launching mainnet in December 2024, Ink has processed more than 35 million transactions and shows no signs of slowing down. Any team building on Ink interested in simplifying their app’s user experience can contact us at Eco.com, and we’ll be happy to support you.
USDT0 Aims to Bring Tether Everywhere
USDT0 addresses fragmented stablecoin liquidity across multiple blockchains by creating a unified, multichain version of USDT. Built on LayerZero's OFT standard, it uses Ethereum as a single source of truth where USDT collateral is locked 1:1 in a transparent, non-custodial smart contract. When transferring USDT0 across chains, USDT0 is burned on the source chain and minted on the destination chain through secure messaging verified by LayerZero’s Decentralized Verifier Networks, eliminating the need for third-party bridges.By unifying USDT across chains, USDT0 enhances capital efficiency, simplifies exchange operations, and enables faster and cheaper cross-chain transfers while maintaining the trust and reliability of USDT.
“At Eco, we believe the best way to move money onchain is to make stablecoins ubiquitous, and to power seamless stablecoin UX for DeFi and app builders. Tether has probably brought more people onchain than any other product; USDT0 is the next link. Ink has made stables a key part of its strategy. We’re excited to support them both with this release, and expand Eco’s liquidity network for developers building on Ink or integrating USDT0.” - Ryne Saxe, CEO at Eco Inc.
About Ink
Ink is a high-performance Ethereum Layer 2 built on the OP Stack. Designed for speed, composability, and user sovereignty, Ink is focused on bringing the next billion users into onchain finance–without sacrificing decentralization, privacy, or control.
About Eco
Eco enables any onchain action to be a simple, one-click stablesend. With Eco, apps can easily accept anyone’s preferred stablecoin, regardless of the network — unlocking stablecoin liquidity from any connected chain and giving users the simplest onchain experience. To make this possible, the Eco Protocol brings together Routes, Accounts, and Crowd Liquidity (coming soon) to give app developers the ultimate flexibility while prioritizing speed, cost, and security.
