The New Eco API: More Programmable, More Powerful, Simpler to Use
Eco’s entire API surface is now unified at api.eco.com, with upgraded routing and asset coverage.
Eco's API surface used to separate multiple services with different shapes: the quotes service, the solver's endpoints, and more. A common partner request has been to have a single, unified surface. So today we are releasing the new Eco API interface, with quoting, funding, routing, transaction status, and more behind one base URL — one key, one request shape, and one error catalog.
What Changes
- One versioned entry point. Everything runs under the same API base URL, across fewer endpoints, making it faster to find the integration path that fits your application.
- A clearer request and response structure. Quotes group source and destination details into their own objects, with an explicit funder. The request makes the asset flow easier to read.
- A connected workflow. Request a quote, use its returned execution with the appropriate funding method, and follow the relevant intent to destination delivery. The guides cover these steps together.
- Fuller route data. Swaps and transfers across assets now return more detail about the route itself.
- Signed quotes. Eco signs every quote, so you can verify exactly what you are funding before funds move—recipient, amounts, expiry, and your own destination conditions. One verification covers every route, whether a quote carries one intent or batches several.
Together, these changes make the Eco API more configurable, more intuitive, and more powerful than ever, and easier to use.
